Late Dr N. R. Pathak (1915-85)
We fondly remember and salute the founder of our trust, Late Dr N. R. Pathak on his 101st birthday today. Last year was observed as his centenary year. He was ,apart from a social worker and politician, a doctor first. He believed in serving the poor. Keeping up with that spirit our trust and Dr N R Pathak Smruti Trust with generous help from doctors of various specialties from Miraj and Lions Nab Eye Hospital,Miraj and K K eye institute Pune, had conducted 3 free health camps at Hatalli,Karnataka and at Sangvi, and Malegaon (both near Baramati) in Maharashtra this year in which around 7000 patients were checked and more than 200 patients underwent free cataract surgery. We sincerely thank all doctors and paraclinical staff who volunteered for this and the local organizers at Hatalli, Sangvi and Malegaon Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana for their selfless help.
