A Humble Appeal to our donors

Dear Donor,

For over seven decades, the Pathak Anathashram has been a beacon of hope for countless children. Founded in 1947 by Dr. N.R. Pathak, B.R. Pathak, and their mother, Seetabai, this noble institution began as a humble orphanage in their own home. As the number of children under their care grew, the orphanage expanded and relocated to Pathak Hospital in 1955.

Driven by a deep sense of compassion and duty, till 1969 all expenses were taken care by the Pathak Family. In 1969, they formalized the venture under care of the Pathak Trust as an NGO which was registered with Charity Commissioner with registration number E-279, ensuring its sustainability and impact. For the trust the Pathak Family gave the seed corpus and land for its sustainability. By formation of the trust, the institute could accept government grant and donations.

In 1984 the trust built its own building and the children’s home was relocated there.

In 1990 the trust started an old-age-home in Miraj and it has served more than 40 elderly people till date.

Through the years, the trust has provided shelter, education, and love to countless orphaned and underprivileged children, women and elderly. And has placed more than 150 children for adoption while working as a specialised adoption agency.

The trust’s commitment remains steadfast to the support of the children and elderly.

To realize this vision, the trust has initiated construction of a new campus near D-Mart, Pandharpur Road Miraj. It includes 7000 sq foot+ structure for the children’s home with a capacity of 20 each for its two subsections and 7000sq foot+ multi-storeyed section to host 20 elderly people. It also has lot of open space.

The trust has invested a significant number of own resources for the project, but additional funds are urgently needed to complete the construction. A sum of Rs. 1 crore is required to finish the project, which includes essential amenities like:

  • Spacious and well-ventilated rooms for children and elderly residents
  • Modern kitchen and other facilities to ensure good hygiene and nutrition
  • Ambulance and school bus to ensure safe and emergency transport
  • Recreational areas for physical and mental well-being
  • Secure and child-friendly outdoor spaces

By contributing to this noble cause, you will be making a lasting impact on the lives of countless individuals. Your generous donation will help us:

  • Provide a safe and loving home for orphaned and underprivileged children
  • Ensure the well-being of our elderly residents
  • Create a sustainable operational expense fund for future.

Whatever achievements the trust has made till date, are mainly due to the generous donations it has received from its well-wishers, and it is forever grateful to its donors. Let us join hands to carry forward the legacy of the trust. Your support will empower us to continue our mission of compassion, care, and service.

Please donate generously to the Pathak Trust. Together, we can make a difference.

Wishing you a Happy Diwali once again and good health and prosperity on the auspicious day of Diwali Padwa.

Yours Sincerely

Dr R N Pathak

President
