A Meaningful Gathering Across Generations
Independence Day is a celebration of our nation’s freedom, and a reminder of our shared responsibility toward society. On the momentous occasion of India’s 80th Independence Day, the Pathak Trust organized flag hoisting at the Old Age Home premises.
The event brought together different generations—from young children to senior residents—creating a warm atmosphere of unity, patriotism, and care.

The ceremony commenced with the unfurling of the Tricolour, led by distinguished guests:
- Chief Guest: Dr. Udaysinh Ghatge, Renowned Psychiatrist from Miraj, who presided over the flag-hoisting ceremony.
- Special Guests:
- Smt. Ashwini Mali, Representative, District Child Protection Unit (DCPU), Sangli.
- Smt. Ashwini Dalvi, Protection Officer, Palus.
- Trustees, advisory board, staff members, senior residents, and children of the institution.
